Filming wraps on National Lampoon's Puerto Rican Vacation

ARW reports:
January 31, 2006 filming wraps after 8 months here in Dorado, Puerto Rico for the unanticipated National Lampoon's Puerto Rican vacation. The movie touted by most as a Caddy Shak rip off with a southern twist finished filming abruptly after a week long off site shoot in Orlando, Florida. A crew member close to the project was quoted as saying, "It was a pretty easy production schedule, we always had Sunday and Monday off, most of the times Tuesday and Fridays also. Come to think of it, we didn't work too many Saturdays either. Plus when it rained forget it, just drive to the other side of the island and play golf." The project hailed by most as a huge failure went way over budget and will most likely be sent straight to video. Production cleanup should last about 2 more weeks and include a wrap party or two.
